CDLF Stainless Steel Fire Jockey Pump is a vertical multistage centrifugal pump specially designed for fire protection systems. It is used to maintain constant pressure in fire sprinkler and hydrant piping networks, preventing unnecessary operation of the main fire pump caused by minor pressure losses.

The CHINHER CDLF Stainless Steel Fire Jockey Pump is a vertical multistage centrifugal pump specially designed for fire protection systems. It is used to maintain constant pressure in fire sprinkler and hydrant piping networks, preventing unnecessary operation of the main fire pump caused by minor pressure losses. When the system pressure drops slightly, the jockey pump automatically starts to restore the preset pressure. If a real fire emergency occurs and the pressure continues to decrease, the main fire pump will automatically take over to provide the required firefighting water supply. This operating principle significantly improves system reliability, reduces energy consumption, and extends the service life of the entire fire pump system.

Working Principle

The CDLF Fire Jockey Pump continuously monitors the pressure inside the fire protection pipeline.

When the system pressure falls below the preset value due to minor leakage or temperature variation, the jockey pump starts automatically to restore pressure.
Once the preset pressure is reached, the jockey pump stops automatically.
If the pressure continues to drop because of a fire emergency, the electric fire pump or diesel fire pump will start automatically to provide full firefighting capacity.
This intelligent pressure maintenance reduces unnecessary starts of the main fire pump, extending equipment life and ensuring the fire protection system remains ready at all times.
